Music Loop

Balthazar demonstrates the music loop

Saturday morning marked the first Loop-a-Rama for Pack 3. Balthazar and I had fun and enjoyed the weather – it was probably one the most beautiful days we’ve had this fall! Balthazar took loops in music and volleyball. He said volleyball was his favorite, though I actually enjoyed the music session a great deal. There were at least 4 or 5 different loop activities, each one having around 2 dozen kids in them. For the two periods, that means there may have been as many as 200 kids there for the event. Sounds like a good showing!

Troop 3 (well, most of the Tiger Scouts anyway) of First Presbyterian Church met at Scoutland on Lake Lanier for a brisk weekend of camping. Friday it rained and soaked us all through. Saturday it was cold, but sunny. It made for a memorable weekend – and a first time camping for many of them.
